제가 올리는 글들은 영어로도 번역되어 소개될 것입니다. 사유는 전세계인들에게 제가 소속된 미국주립대 UCO (University of Central Oklahoma)를 알리기 위함입니다. 따라서 가끔은 이렇게 영어-한글 병행 표기도 진행하겠습니다. 모든 영어는 UCO 현지 언어감수를 받은 결과물입니다.
The following video clip introduces my major UCO downtown MBA. In this video clip, some professors and students are my classes’ professors and colleagues. UCO is located in Edmond, near the OK state capital OKC (Oklahoma City). However, MBA classes are held in the OKC downtown. Thus, you can enjoy the business district buildings and shops there.
제가 다니는 미국 주립대 UCO (Univ. of Central Oklahoma)의 MBA 학과 동영상입니다. 몇 몇 분은 제가 직접 현재 배우고 있는 교수님들도 계시네요. 호홋.
UCO 본교는 OK주도인 OKC ( Oklahoma City)에서 15분쯤 걸리는 Edmond에 위치해 있고요. MBA 수업실은 OKC 다운타운에 있습니다. 때문에 MBA 수업을 들으면 더더욱 도시풍경속에서 듣게 됩니다.

UCO MBA is a cohort
program, which means students have to study as a team, not as
an individual. Once you have your team, that team will continue until the
end of this MBA program. However, you can also be shuffled into many other
combinations of team members in each class. My classes are structured in 10 or
15 members of students. Roughly 10 percent of students are international
students like me. I am totally satisfied with the UCO MBA program
where excellent professors and classmates accepted me (an international
student) as truly their class/team members. In short, I feel that I belong to
this program from my heart.
MBA의 특징은 Cohort 프로그램이라서요. 동료들과 같이 수업을 참여한다는 것입니다. 으잉? 그럼 다른 MBA는 동료들과 팀을 안 짜나? 제가 미국의 다른 MBA를 다녀보지 않아서 잘 모르겠는데요. 앞에 Cohortr가 붙으면 협동, 집단 이런 의미인 것 같고요. 한번 팀을 짜면 1년 반 학기동안 멋지게 붙어다니면서 서로 공동과제를 합니다. 물론 주력팀이 한번 결성되면 가급적 그 팀 위주로 매 수업마다 팀을 짜지만, 간혹 섞여서 팀을 짜기도 합니다. 저는 봄학기 시작한 반이라 인원수가 10명 ~15명 남짓 반에 배정됐는데 팀이 적어도 5번은 새로 짜졌습니다. 즉, 매번 새로운 학생들과도 팀을 짤 수가 있습니다.
